Founded by Mr. R.C.D. Gajasinghe with Hand-Operated Vulcanizing Press
When replacement rubber seals for commercial transport were scarce across the island, Mr. R.C.D. Gajasinghe founded Shamini Group with a dedicated 3-person team. Formulating natural rubber compounds by hand and machining custom steel compression dies, the workshop pressed Sri Lanka's first long-lasting alternative automotive seals.

Shamini Group engineered the iconic white-line bar beading, vibration-damping silentbloc bushes, and printed mud flaps calibrated specifically for Sri Lanka's intense road vibrations.

The hand press shop has expanded into an integrated multi-material manufacturing operation. Hydraulic compression and injection presses operate alongside continuous soft PVC extrusion, fiber CNC laser cutting, and robotic welding cells-delivering completed, inspected sub-assemblies directly to vehicle assembly lines and dealers across the island.
